FUNCTION: 
The Division administers the general planning and community development activities for the City. The staff also provides professional planning assistance and counseling to interested developers including assistance in site plan development and review, interagency and interdepartmental coordination, subdivision and administrative plat development, zoning interpretation and development alternatives. The division also assists development through financial loan and grant counseling and applications. Assistance is also provided for JOBZ and Tax Increment Financing.
