A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
CONTRACT WITH MEAD & HUNT, INC.
(JOB 0713)

            WHEREAS, the City received proposals for professional services from Mead & Hunt, Inc., for the final design, plans and specifications for the wetland mitigation, relocation of Plaza Street, and a design of a bridge to cross Bancroft Creek for the relocation of Runway 16-34, (Task Order #5), per the Scope of Services, and

            WHEREAS, the City has entered into an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for Airport Improvements, State Project No. 2401-61, now, therefore

THE CITY OF ALBERT LEA RESOLVES:

            Sec. 1.       That a professional services agreement with Mead & Hunt, Inc., for engineering services described above at a project cost of $124,640.00 (Task Order #5). The project will be paid 95% Federal Funds ($118,408.00) and 5% local funds ($6,232.00).

            Sec. 2.       That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to executive these agreements on behalf of the City of Albert Lea.

Sec. 3.       That reading of this resolution is waived by Council consent.

            Sec. 4.       That publication of this resolution shall be dispensed with under provisions of Section 3.08 of the Charter of the City of Albert Lea.

That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilor Brooks and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilors Rasmussen, Baker, Marin, Olson, Severtson, Brooks and Mayor Erdman.

And the following voted against the same:  None.
