RESOLUTION INITIATING “NO PARKING” ON CERTAIN STATE AID
STREETS IN THE CITY OF ALBERT LEA
WHEREAS, the City of Albert Lea will be repairing/reconstructing certain State Aid Streets in the city; and
WHEREAS, the City of Albert Lea will designate these State Aid Streets as “No Parking” on certain sides of the street; now therefore
THE CITY OF ALBERT LEA RESOLVES:
Sec. 1. That the following streets shall be designated as follows:
Hawthorne St. from Lakewood Ave. to Garfield Ave. – No Parking on the north side.
Lakewood Ave. from Hawthorne St. to Richway Dr – No Parking on the west side.
Lakeview Blvd. from Fountain St. to 250 feet north – No Parking on the west side.
(“No Parking” Signs not directly in front of the houses, if possible)
Third St. from Madison Ave. to Newton Ave. – No Parking on the south side
Sec. 2. That reading of this resolution is waived by Council consent.
Sec. 3. That publication of this resolution shall be dispensed with under provisions of Section 3.08 of the Charter of the City of Albert Lea.
That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilor Severtson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilors Rasmussen, Baker, Marin, Olson, Severtson, Brooks and Mayor Erdman.
And the following voted against the same: None.
