Storm Sewer System

The City's storm sewer system collects all of the surface water from the streets, parking lots, and roof drains and through a 90 mile network of 8" to 60" pipe, flows into Fountain Lake, Albert Lea Lake, Pickeral Lake, and Goose Lake. There are 1835 catch basins that collect the water from the streets and discharge the water into the various size pipes.
